This Refund, Cancellation and Payment Policy explains how payments, refunds, cancellations, failed transactions, payment disputes and related requests are handled on Addvey.
Addvey is committed to providing a transparent and fair payment experience to its users, vendors, sellers, service providers and business partners.
Please read this Policy carefully before making a payment or confirming a transaction through Addvey.
Addvey is operated by ADDVEYNOW SOLUTIONS PRIVATE LIMITED, a company incorporated under the laws of India.
Addvey is a technology platform designed to connect customers with local sellers, vendors, businesses, service providers, drivers, delivery partners and other participating partners.
Depending on the features and services made available on the platform, Addvey may facilitate transactions relating to:
Vendor registration and onboarding.
Business registration, verification and listing services.
Vendor subscriptions and promotional services, where offered.
Platform fees and commissions, where applicable.
Products listed by participating sellers.
Services offered by participating businesses and service providers.
Ride bookings and transportation services, when enabled.
Delivery and other service bookings, when enabled.
Other charges clearly displayed on the platform.
Addvey may act as a technology platform, payment facilitator or intermediary depending on the nature of the transaction. The exact role of Addvey and the relevant seller or service provider will depend on the service being used.
This Policy applies to payments made through:
The official Addvey website.
Addvey mobile applications.
Addvey partner or vendor applications.
Other official Addvey-operated digital platforms.
Payments may be processed through third-party payment service providers, including Razorpay, or other payment providers integrated with Addvey.
The applicable amount, payment conditions, fees, taxes, cancellation conditions and other relevant information will be displayed before the payment is confirmed.
By proceeding with a payment, you acknowledge that you have had an opportunity to review the applicable transaction conditions.
Addvey may offer registration, onboarding, verification, business listing and other platform-related services to vendors and business partners.
Depending on the service selected, vendors may be required to pay applicable fees.
Before making a payment, vendors should carefully review:
The nature of the service being purchased.
The applicable registration or service fee.
The scope of the service.
Any applicable subscription duration.
Verification and onboarding conditions.
Any additional terms displayed during payment.
Vendor registration, onboarding and verification fees are generally non-refundable once the relevant service has been activated, onboarding work has commenced, verification has been performed or the agreed service has been provided.
However, this does not prevent a vendor from requesting a refund where the service has not been provided, a payment has been duplicated, an incorrect amount has been collected or a refund is otherwise required under applicable law.
A vendor may request a refund in circumstances including:
The same payment has been successfully charged more than once for the same service.
Payment was successfully received but the corresponding service was not provided due to an issue attributable to Addvey.
Addvey is unable to complete a paid onboarding or verification service for reasons attributable to Addvey.
An incorrect amount was collected due to a verified technical or billing error.
A refund is required under applicable law.
Every request will be reviewed based on the payment record, service status, relevant communications and circumstances of the case.
If a vendor’s paid onboarding or verification application is rejected or cannot be completed, refund eligibility will depend on:
The reason for rejection.
Whether the paid service has already been performed.
Whether verification or onboarding work has commenced.
The specific fee conditions disclosed before payment.
Applicable laws and regulations.
Where a paid service has not been provided and a refund is due, Addvey will process the eligible refund.
Vendors are responsible for providing accurate business information, valid contact details, correct documents and other information required during registration and verification.
Incorrect, incomplete, misleading or fraudulent information may result in rejection, suspension or restriction of a vendor account, subject to applicable terms and law.
Where Addvey introduces paid vendor subscriptions, advertising, promotional packages, premium listings or other time-based services, the applicable price, duration and service conditions will be disclosed before payment.
The following conditions may apply:
Vendors should review the applicable subscription or promotional terms before confirming payment.
Fees for services already delivered or subscription periods already used are generally non-refundable, except where required by law or where a billing error or service failure justifies a refund.
Cancellation of a subscription will normally prevent future renewals, where applicable.
Cancelling a subscription does not automatically result in a refund for the current paid subscription period.
Any applicable renewal conditions will be communicated before the vendor subscribes.
Any cancellation or refund rights required by applicable law will remain unaffected.
If a paid promotional service is not delivered as agreed due to an issue attributable to Addvey, the vendor may contact Addvey for review and an appropriate resolution.
Where Addvey enables customers to purchase products or book services from participating sellers, vendors or service providers, refund eligibility will depend on the nature and circumstances of the transaction.
Relevant considerations may include:
The type and description of the product or service.
Whether the order or booking has been confirmed.
Whether the product has been packed, dispatched or delivered.
Whether the service has commenced or been completed.
Whether the product is defective, damaged, incorrect or materially different from its description.
Whether the service was not delivered or was materially different from what was agreed.
The applicable seller or service-provider terms.
Applicable consumer protection laws.
Where a participating seller or service provider is responsible for fulfilling an order or booking, that seller or service provider remains responsible for the applicable product or service obligations.
These may include product quality, accurate descriptions, delivery, service performance, warranties and other obligations applicable to the transaction.
Addvey may assist customers with eligible payment-related requests, complaints and disputes in accordance with its role in the transaction and applicable law.
Nothing in this Policy removes any consumer rights or remedies available under applicable law.
Cancellation conditions may differ depending on the relevant Addvey product, booking or service.
A cancellation request may be accepted in circumstances including:
The order or booking has not yet been processed.
The seller, vendor or service provider is unavailable.
The relevant partner is unable to fulfil the confirmed order or booking.
A technical issue prevents the transaction from being completed.
Addvey or the relevant service provider cancels the transaction.
Cancellation is permitted under the applicable service-specific conditions or law.
Once an order has been dispatched, a service has commenced or a booking has reached a stage where cancellation is no longer reasonably possible, cancellation and refund eligibility may be limited, subject to applicable law.
Any applicable cancellation charges will be disclosed before confirmation and applied consistently with applicable law.
Customers should submit cancellation requests through the available Addvey platform options or official support channels.
Sometimes a payment may show as pending, failed or unsuccessful even when the customer’s bank account, UPI account, card or other payment instrument has been debited.
In such circumstances:
Customers should first check the payment status and transaction reference.
If the payment was not successfully received or captured, the amount may be automatically reversed by the payment provider or banking system.
If the amount was successfully captured more than once for the same transaction, the duplicate amount may be refunded after verification.
If the transaction remains unresolved, customers should contact Addvey support with the relevant payment details.
Customers are advised not to repeat a payment immediately when an earlier transaction is still showing as pending.
Addvey may coordinate with the relevant payment provider to investigate unresolved transactions.
Customers and vendors who wish to request a refund should contact Addvey through its official customer support channels.
To help us investigate the request, please provide:
Full name.
Registered mobile number or email address.
Addvey order, booking or vendor reference, where applicable.
Razorpay payment ID or transaction reference, if available.
Payment date.
Payment amount.
Reason for requesting the refund.
Relevant screenshots, receipts or supporting documents, where necessary.
Addvey may request additional information to verify the transaction and investigate the circumstances.
Providing a refund request does not automatically mean that the refund is approved. Each request will be reviewed individually in accordance with this Policy and applicable law.
Addvey will review refund requests based on relevant information, including:
Transaction and payment records.
Order or booking status.
Whether the product or service has been provided.
Relevant seller, vendor or service-provider information.
Applicable transaction conditions.
Supporting documents and communications.
Applicable laws and regulations.
Where a refund is approved, Addvey will initiate the refund through the applicable payment provider or payment channel.
Depending on the circumstances, an approved refund may be full or partial.
A refund request may be declined where the relevant service has been properly provided, the request does not satisfy the disclosed refund conditions or the request is found to be fraudulent or unsupported.
However, no provision of this Policy will restrict a consumer right or legal remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Once an eligible refund has been approved and successfully initiated, the amount will generally be returned to the original payment method used for the transaction.
The time required for the amount to appear in the customer’s account depends on the payment provider, bank, card issuer, UPI provider and payment method.
For payments processed through Razorpay, normal refunds may generally take approximately 7–10 working days, depending on the payment method and banking partner.
Actual processing times may vary.
Customers should retain the refund reference or transaction details until the refunded amount is credited.
If the refund has not appeared within the expected period, customers may contact Addvey support with the refund reference for assistance.
Payments made through Addvey may include applicable taxes, platform charges, service fees or other amounts disclosed before payment.
Payment gateway providers may charge processing fees and applicable taxes to Addvey for processing transactions.
Such fees may not always be reversed to Addvey when a transaction is refunded.
However, Addvey will not deduct an undisclosed or unlawful charge from an eligible customer or vendor refund.
Any amount refundable to a customer or vendor will be determined according to the applicable transaction terms and law.
Applicable taxes, where relevant, will be handled in accordance with Indian tax laws.
When Addvey introduces its Ride module and enables online ride payments, separate ride-specific payment, cancellation and refund conditions will be displayed before a customer confirms a ride booking.
Depending on the circumstances, the following conditions may apply:
A ride cancelled before driver acceptance may qualify for a full refund where payment has been collected.
A ride cancelled after driver acceptance may be subject to a cancellation charge, provided the charge was disclosed and is legally permitted.
If a driver does not arrive or a ride cannot be completed due to the driver’s or platform’s fault, the customer may qualify for a refund.
If a customer is charged for a ride that did not take place, the transaction will be investigated.
Duplicate ride payments and verified payment errors may qualify for refunds.
The final ride-specific cancellation and refund rules will be published when online ride payments are introduced.
Until then, this section describes a planned service and does not represent a currently available online ride-payment facility.
If Addvey introduces a wallet or stored-value payment feature, separate wallet terms and conditions will apply.
Those terms may explain:
Wallet loading and payment conditions.
Refunds for failed or cancelled transactions.
Wallet balance adjustments.
Applicable withdrawal or redemption conditions.
Transaction limits and verification requirements.
Expiry conditions, where legally permitted and applicable.
Complaints and dispute resolution.
Any wallet or stored-value feature will be introduced and operated only in accordance with applicable payment-system laws and regulatory requirements, including requirements applicable to prepaid payment instruments and authorised payment providers.
Until such a feature is officially introduced, this section describes a future service and does not represent an active Addvey wallet facility.
If a customer or vendor believes that a payment was unauthorised, incorrect or fraudulent, they should contact Addvey promptly.
Addvey may investigate the transaction and coordinate with the relevant payment provider.
Customers and vendors may also contact their bank, card issuer, UPI provider or other payment instrument provider to report an unauthorised transaction or raise a dispute through the applicable banking process.
Addvey may temporarily restrict suspicious transactions or accounts where reasonably necessary to investigate suspected fraud, prevent misuse or protect users and business partners, subject to applicable law and platform terms.
Customers are advised to keep their payment credentials, OTPs, passwords and other authentication information confidential.
Addvey will never require a customer to disclose an OTP or payment password to process a legitimate refund request.
Where possible, approved refunds will be processed to the original payment method used for the transaction.
Addvey generally cannot redirect a refund to a different bank account, UPI ID, card or payment instrument unless an alternative method is permitted by the payment provider and applicable law.
Customers should ensure that their original payment account or instrument remains accessible for receiving eligible refunds.
Addvey is committed to addressing customer and vendor complaints in a timely and transparent manner.
For refund requests, payment disputes, cancellations, failed transactions or other complaints relating to this Policy, customers and vendors may contact Addvey using the official details below.
Addvey aims to acknowledge consumer complaints within 48 hours of receipt and resolve them within one month, in accordance with applicable law.
